I had been Matia's patient for about 3 years when I hurt my jaw. The pain was debilitating. I couldn't eat, sleep, talk, kiss, had constant headaches and muscle spasms. This went on for 2 months straight. It was so awful. I went to several oral surgeons and dentists. One told me I needed $20,000 of dental work to fix it and the others said I needed a bite plate and that it MIGHT heal in a year but no one was sure. Of course they told me to take all kinds of pain killers, narcotics and one even told me to just drink a ton of alcohol to kill the pain! I asked Matia about all of this and she suggested that Boaz could help me if I could get out to California for a least a few weeks. We live on the East Coast but we are fortunate enough to be able to work from anywhere. So my husband and I decided that we would go to California for one month.  Boaz treated me with acupuncture, with Matia's guidance since she knew me so well after all these years. Boaz was so great - he's such a caring, fun and brilliant person to be around (just like Matia). The treatments were tough at first because I was so sore. After a few more treatments I felt more and more moments of relief. By the time I left, I felt a LOT better. It is now about 5 months later and I feel great! I still have some issues with my jaw but I am almost pain free and I am sure that I am still healing. I am POSITIVE that Boaz treatments accelerated my healing!! If I could have stayed longer and continued treatments, I am sure I would be even better. But I am so grateful for how I feel now. I had never had acupuncture before and never would have thought it was so powerful. My husband even got treatments for some of his issues and he loved it too! Not anyone can do what Boaz does with acupuncture though. I have since been to 2 acupuncturists here and they didn't even come close to Boaz's knowledge and skill. So, hopefully we can make more trips to California to see Boaz!
