Agave
I have endlessly defended my position on agave after using it for years in the clinic. I have not seen another natural sweetener that compares. I have not had time to fully research this, but, this just came in to back up its defense. Shocking! There is much misinformation about agave syrup and its production process. The Truth We’ve been following with interest the article “Shocking! This 'Tequila' Sweetener is Far Worse than High Fructose Corn Syrup” the last couple of days. It is amazing how powerful internet is in terms of informing or in this case misinforming people. It is obvious that the article was written by a person with more than just passing knowledge about the production of High Fructose Corn Syrup, but less than a limited knowledge about the production of agave syrup. Perhaps, this is the reason the author constantly confuses one with the other.
A clear example of the limited knowledge of the agave showed in the article is the head line where the agave syrup is erroneously called tequila sweetener; but in order to make tequila the piñas (agave cores) are cooked then crushed to extract the juice and proceed to distillation process, in the case of agave syrup the piñas are directly crushed to extract the juice and then the juice goes through filtration and hydrolysis.
stay true
Especially today, with the economy as it is, flu scares, children, our work demands, friends and family issues - basically being pulled in so many different directions by so many different things and people at the same time, it is very important to remember who we are. Stop and take a deep breath and re-evaluate our purpose and journey in this life. Why are we here and what is it we need to fulfill or manifest? Are we being true to our souls and our hearts? Are we really aware and living life with our eyes open? Do we make decisions based on our internal fire or are we driven or paralyzed by fear?

Lead In Children's Vitamins
One vitamin tha I had been recommending to some people and using in my own family has turned up positive for lead. I am so upset about this. I am double checking another one I often recommend and think that it continues to be safe--All One, it comes in adult strength and children's strength. I will post when I find out. In any case, here is the article, and if any of you that are on it and I forgot to notify you, please stop immediately and email me. http://zrecs.blogspot.com/2008/08/fda-finds-lead-in-most-childrens.html

Chinese Medicine
Chinese medicine provides help for various medical conditions, by supporting all aspects of the human body--physical, mental and emotional.
Chinese medicine works through the concept of bringing the body back to a homeostatic state through a system which recognizes various states of imbalance.
Chinese medicine encompasses both acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine and has been in existence for more than 2,500 years. Since the West has also begun to embrace alternative kinds of healing therapies, Chinese medicine has become an accepted medical modality in most of the United States recognizing the wide spectrum of diseases that are treatable via this aspect of alternative healing.
